fi in startup folder or run as shell?
« on: October 15, 2012, 02:39:48 AM »
ere in regards to whether placing fi in startup folder or to run as system shell.

What are the advantages of each.

Also, there seems to be a start fi as shell option in setting but when selected, I still have to open fi manually after a shutdown/reset

How have you setup your system to behave when u flick the ignition on  8)

I have mine in the startup menu, so if i kill FI for whatever reason i still have explorer available to start it back up again

you can run as shell ,, and if you want to get to explorer ,, you could just use one of the app's buttons to embed exploer,,,

but if your sys is not stable ,, i would stick to startup folder,, just safer that way ,, shell dose help make things load and run faster ,, but if the Sh!t hits the fan then not so easy to recover from
