you could have borrowed mine, still can if you want, i can get it in the post to you, be there before yours

you can still do a bit of messing about with the joystick, there are 3 wires from it, but only two can be used, just need to find the common, then if needed put a resistor on one of the feed wires (if two of the resistances are the same)

yeah i'm thinking about that myself, i got the rm x4s, i already contacted the creator of joycon, he was very helpful. you pretty much have to strip the x4s and use a resistor.

No you don't have to butcher it. You can use a 1/8" Stereo Panel-Mount or equivalent Audio Jack it has two conductors and one ground . Use the third conductor for your third wire that you would add your resistor to.  You then connect the wires from both conductor together  and join them with the white wire from the joycon. You can just plug your RMX4S in and go. This is my understanding of the situation. Someone correct me if my thinking is wrong

What Country do you live in? In the USA you can get it from Radio Shack.  Any electronics parts store should carry it.

NICE!!!!!!

ok its works ,, only done 1 button, for playpause cmd,,

@leeharper1 yo bud , all good, i think , don't understand why all the resistors i have packaged with , but i used
color format that is in the instructions image ,,,,

setting up the app for this was alittle difficult but , if you set up auto detect buttons, your half way there ,
i whatched this yt video , helped even thought the app looks slightly different to the one that comes with ...

after you have set the keys up in joycon app,,open your fi folder
you will find the hotkeys.exe  open it

the app is set to capture on start , hit the key you have set in joycon ,,,

example

joycon = A1 = Q

hit Q on your keyboard , stop capture,, in 1st cmd enter "playpause" without ""'s

save ,, to double check its saved hit veiw hotkeys button this will open the hotkeys.xml
you should see the cmd you just saved ...

start fi , goto settings , make sure hotkeys is active

now hit the button on your controller that you set the key to

this is a quick info on this i will set up a proper how to soon
