I'm really sorry to hear this.  I hope the project picks up again soon.  It's a great project and needs to continue.

i hope this is not the end ,, i will do my up most ,, to keep fi alive
its just been awhile since i have had any contact with the others of the team ,, and im alittle worried
because this is not like El do close down like this , we have been working together for 7 years ,,, mostly RR
and when we both came to fi ,, steve opened all the doors for us,, which was great ,, as steve had alot of other things that needed him , so he willing took a back seat from fi,, i just feel bad as we have come sooo close to a stable and fully content fe,,,

i just want to stress this is NOT a Goodbye,, its a hold till i hear from my main coder...
im just trying to be honest with you all,,,

dont be angry, thats life.

perhaps its a problem that most cars are within a skin...or some people leave the windows/flash coded skins and changed to android and takes a tablet computer into their cars.

i also only draw skins for myself, some in RR some in FI. its for using my home pc.
i have no longer a car pc. the prices for a good screen are higher as i get for my car.

be proud about all the things you do for us...the unknowings.
thanks for your all time help.

regards.

well just to say ,, still no message from FI's main coder ,
so
if theres a user who is willing to take the job on ,, even if its short term just to get fi core to where it should be,,

at the moment i can't give you access to bass src,,,,

as some of you know ,, im not the coder most of you think i am ,,, most of the core was done by el,
i am really just lucky to fix or screw up till now , since el disappeared ,

treat as the voice of freeice , not the coder ,,

i know you all have issues in 1 way or another , and i have done what i can to fix ,, but some of the fixs needed are well beyond me,,, please bare with me , while the hunt for a temp or pernement coder is found

thank you guys

Cp has moved over to cf, as well as enforcer. Big shame its halted like this.

Spammers have found us, I clean it when I can, but as the coders, I don't have enough rights to try stop it.

I haven't 'gone' to CF.

I wrote plugins for CF before FreeICE was even a twinkling in cdrs eye.

I clean up the spammers now and again, but unless cdr or el camino work on the core there is not much point being here.

Not even sure if I have access to the main core to take it on, (even if I wanted to)

Not that I have time to take it on properly either, but what's FI written in?

Would be curious to see the code to get a feel for the size of job it would be, but I'm at least a few months from having the time to take on a project (currently renovating a flat in my free time).

sadly i knew this was the way, and for this i had stop the work on the skin i was making exactly when the main coder leaved the project, again sadly because this had much potential of customization. I guess the future will be on adroid platform..
